I began my career as a volunteer in my local elementary school where I helped third grade students read and work through math. I was so inspired by these young minds I decided to make teaching my career. Teaching is so important, and it’s amazing what children are truly capable of! Not only do we teach them, but they teach us to enjoy every detail of artwork, slow down, and find simplicity in our world.

I find the Montessori approach to be the most gentle and kind way for children to learn. I also admire the independence it grants each child. They get to learn at their own pace while learning practical life skills.

When not teaching I enjoy cooking, and spending time outside especially with my family! Hiking, time at the beach, or going for a walk is very peaceful and healing!
